Owned by the Paterson family, the company’s focus is to provide the best quality meat and poultry products from the paddocks and farms of Australia, including free range and organic, sourced from quality endorsed suppliers who meet the highest industry quality and safety standards.

Scorpio Foods started business almost 40 years ago as a red-meat boning, packing and export company trading as Scorpio Meats.

Scorpio's processing facility, located in Colac in regional Victoria, has the equipment, capacity and capability to manufacture a full range of diced, minced portion cut meats. It has extensive refrigeration facilities including blast freezers and equipment for pumping, vacuum massaging, forming and cooking of meat products.

Scorpio Foods specialised cooking equipment includes continuous spray friers, continuous water cooking, steam cooking and "sous vide" cooking.

Scorpio's products

Scorpio Foods' beef and veal from grass fed cattle is sourced along with lamb, pork and chicken from the farms of the east coast of Australia, from quality endorsed traditional, free-range or organic suppliers.

Its extensive range of products include beef and chicken rashers, lamb burgers, meat balls and chipolata sausages to name a few.

Scorpio's products are certified by the Australian Quarantine & Inspection Service (AQIS), HACCP Australia, Halal Certification Authority Australia and Australian Certified Organic.
