BGFC has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in China via the acquisition of the Dalian Australian Food Expo Company (DFEC). BGFC (China) consolidates some 7,000 distribution outlets across China.


BGFC has a customer relationship with Yihaodian, a leading on-line supermarket in China. Yihaodian has four major distribution centres and 50 smaller centres across China with 57 million registered users/customers in 2013. Yihaodian, of which a 51% equity interest has been acquired by Walmart, commenced operations in 2008 and has grown quickly to become China's biggest specialist food e-store.


Dashang is a leading retailer in China with 200 retail stores in 150 cities. BGFC has been invited to be the preferred supplier to Dashang for all Australian food and beverages. BGFC will create and stock a Beston Pure Foods section in each of the upmarket stores operated by Dashang in 70 different cities.


Sunwah is one of the largest importers and distributors of food stuffs in Hong Kong, and Macau and has a long standing specialisation in seafood products, in the region. The company was founded in 1957 and now operates one of the most comprehensive logistics and door-to-door delivery services in Hong Kong with services to major hotels, supermarkets, air-catering companies, theme parks, fast food chains and restaurants.

Thailand is strategically located at the cross road of Asia and serves as a gateway into the booming economic markets of the ASEAN region, including its own dynamic and growing domestic market of 67 million people.

Initially, the strategy of Beston Global Food Company (Thailand) (BGFC (Thailand)) will be to develop the market in Thailand and the broader ASEAN region for BGFC Australian products. Over time we will identify and exploit opportunities to export complementary products from Thailand to other countries, for example fresh organic vegetables to China and certain milk products to Brunei and Halal markets.


Vietnam is the eastern most country on the Indochina Peninsula in South East Asia and has a population of more than 90 million people. As a result of the economic and political reform policies instituted by the Government in 1986, Vietnam has consistently experienced one of the highest economic growth rates in the world.

In Vietnam, BPAM has established an office in Ho Chi Minh to build on its long standing knowledge of and experience in Vietnam and develop opportunities for the export of BGFC branded products from Australia.


Brunei Darussalam, a small but very wealthy country on the north coast of the island of Borneo, has one of the highest levels of GDP per capital in the world due to its rich reserves of oil and gas.

In association with its investee company, Neptune Bio-Innovations Holdings Pty Ltd, BGFC has established a presence in Brunei for the purposes of utilising the policies of the Sultanate of Brunei to capitalise on the highly regarded Brunei Halal trademark to export BGFC branded products into Muslim countries around the world and to establish a dairy food manufacturing facility to produce Halal milk formula products under incentive arrangements put in place by the Sultanate to diversify the Brunei economy away from its heavy reliance on oil and gas.
